Just checking to be sure. I'm pretty sure there are none available. Normally aspirated G-body cars use a slightly larger core that does not fit in a turbobuick. Also, the larger line to the drier is about 3 inches short. Any new information on this problem?
-
Does not look promising. Has anyone measured one?
-
Yes, I have. The Turbo Buick evaporator dimensions are 11" X 9.5" X 3.5". Basically, the 9.5 measurement for the TR is 10" on the NA g-body evaporator, so it won't fit in the TR air box.

From my site http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/heater_core_replacement.htm (http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/heater_core_replacement.htm) Look at the bottom picture for the correct part and then use it to look at the pictures on the various parts places to make sure you get the right one. Obviously, I learned the hard way lol

I called Northern autoparts and they don't have it. They checked with their supplier/ manufacturer, allegedly, and it's not available. I don't need one thankfully, but I have two TRs and would like to have a stand by part. Not to be, apparently.

Check the part number and search on it
-
I did that first. Northern was the last possibility, their website showing they had it. But, nope.

Call them and see if it’s the correct one

that appears to be the NA regal replacement. The picture is wrong and it is shown for both non turbo and turbo with the same numbers and that ain't right

That's not for a Grand National. They expose their incompetence. If you seach an evaporator for an El Camino or Monte Carlo at that site, they'll give you the exact same unit. These units are too large and also the thicker tube is too short.
