I don't know how to set up a pole on here but if everyone could list their best 1/4 mile time just for fun it would be interesting to see the numbers
Mine was 12.1

With a pole setup, I'm thinkin earl is gonna wanna see some dancers.
I ran some 12.90s back in the nineties. Plenty stout to take money from the run of the mill street racers of the time. Stock turbo/ic, chip, cai, open dump and sticky tires.
I know there are some real slick setups these days.

11.17

I have been 11.06 2 years ago, I have since upgrade the Turbo, down pipe, ignition, rear end, and have not made a good pass since.
-
Buick went 11.91 @ 112mph

TBSS went 11.96 @ 116mph (close enough to the Buick which holds the crown for being the quickest car I have ever owned)
MCSS went 12.5 @ 116mph (on a 100 shot)
Natasha's Camaro went 12.6 @ 111mph

Hopefully both the wagon and revamped MCSS will be regulars for being sent home for running too quick without a cage. ;)

I have yet to bring it altogether in one good pass. I only get the 1/8th mile runs here locally and as of lately I only get to run the 1/4 once a year up at Noble.
Best 60 foot 1.58
Best 1/4 time 12.36
Best 1/4 mph 118
-
A few years back at BPG in the 100* heat I ran 11.20 at 21 psi on a TT chip burnt for 26 psi. It picked up half a second when I removed some fuel because it was too rich. I'm sure with some real tuning & cooler weather it would bust a 10 sec run with my old school 67 & alchy. The car runs good so I leave it alone.

I bested an 11.55 last year.........s till running the stock long bock 180k with Comp 980's
Nothing earth shattering but surprised the heck out of me with just basic bolt ons. Trans and converter play a huge role IMO, oh and of course tuning.
-
7.01@98 in the 1/8th mile. with the trans slipping and it buzzing at 6100
-
86 T-type went 11.5@118 - parted sold gone
00 Firebird 11.3@122 N/A 10.65@132 N2o
Maybe someday I'll have something fast

That 10.65 is really moving. Sell me your six speed when you get bored of it.

https://youtu.be/M2gvRvzFJhE - there is the proof. I guess it wasn't quite 132.
Mike I'll let you know if I'm ever ready to part with it.

That is 132! You're closer to it than 131, I would round up .25 away from 132 compared to .75 away from 131.

Isn't the last 100' of the track just an estimate? Pretty sure the beams at the finish are before the full 1320 is done.
-
The timing light @ 1320 and the one 66ft before 1320 are used to calculate the "trap speed".
-
needed to update mine
1.56 60 ft. 6.98 1/8 and 10.995 @121.58, 24psi boost leaving with 14 off the line,
my next pass I rolled thru the beams and red lite too early to get a time but I did pull the left front wheel up.

That was it. Thanks!
