Title: how do I identify a turbo flywheel?
Post by: tb3 on June 21 2016, 05:32:50 PM
I don't know much about the differant flywheels used on the 231 engines, other than there is a differance in the holes stamped in them I've seen on turbo cars vs the NA cars.
how would I know the differance?

for some reason, I'm thinking they are the same thing.

On a max effort engine it needs to be balanced anyway so based on that all flexplates are 'wrong'

Thanks Earl.  I was just curious.  I'm selling one from a 87 GN, just wanted to check.  Its the same one that matches the rest from the turbo buicks I've seen.

I got a nice one if anybody wants it for $40 shipped
