Title: New Seats
Post by: larrym on June 10 2016, 10:55:14 AM
So last weekend I hoped in the car and a wire stabbed me in my.......seats are totally pouched.
Went to the bone yard and wandered around looking for something that would not look bad. Found these in a 2001 Nissan Sentra decent color match good shape cheap adjustable seat pan and no more spring stabbing me.

Easier when you don't have that GN two-tone thing going on. Looks good
What did it take to bolt them in?

A little fab work welded some tabs on and drilled hole to line up with the stock slider.
I'm great at cobbling shit together.

J-body and F-body seats are a direct bolt-on, just swap the rails.  I need to find another set of 4th Gen F-body seats since selling Natasha's car.

The wrecker want 350 a pair for any of the F body seats ...... I found  1 set that were a decent color match but they would have needed recovering I was a little shocked there were a half a doze Camaros and a couple birds.  These were $ 150 for the pair and the best condition and color match in the yard.
