I made four runs...and made some adjustments... and will leave things alone till the October air gets here. I tried 12.5 lbs in the 9 inch slicks and 13. I also tried the number 3 and 4 shock settings on the rear single adjustable QA1's. Track prep was non existent and these used 9 inch slicks are likely older than me. All four runs were identical.
22 PSI
60 Foot-1.91
ET-7.4
MPH-99.8
Fuel C-16
Low Gear Fueling-823 with 15 percent fuel pulled
Low Gear Timing-29.6 degrees-4 degrees over Erics default
High Gear Fueling-776 on Erics default
High Gear Timing-24.7 on Erics default
Points series starts the first weekend in June so the track will be prepped perfectly and ET will drop accordingly.

Jason and I were discussing how high gear fueling with Erics 5.7 chip affects overall fueling. Ambient air temp has been the same the last two weeks. Last week I pulled 5 percent high gear fuel...and note the low gear fueling came in at 807 with 15 percent low gear fuel pulled. Fast forward to this week. I added 5 percent fuel to high gear to compensate for adding 2 lbs of boost. The low gear fueling checked in this week at 823 with no low gear fueling changes.

What was the difference in your time slip with the fuel changes?

Sounds like it works just like the instructions say it does :)

Steve...we both know very few read instructions.. .hence why I post this stuff.

Forzfed...no ET change...but it picked up about 2.5 mph. It went 7.4 on a 1.91 launch at 99.8. Someone break out a slide rule and tell me what it will ET with a 1.65 launch...which it'll do with ease next month when the track is prepped for Round 1 of the point series.

I'm sure it wouldn't surprise you how many folks that I've run into that don't understand this

Nope...I don't know how many people I have tried to explain it to and there is a straight path from one ear out the other...I like Eric's chips because he writes such good instructions but I think only 10% read them...and 2% understand them

Brad,According to my time slips from late last year I was picking up........or should I say dropping 2.5 - 3 tenths in the 1/4 by reducing my 60' by .1
Not sure how that would play out in the 1/8

Jim, the 7.4 equates to about 11.7x. SMP sticks to the rule book on race days...so I can't go much faster. I'll likely pull the last 5 percent out of low gear fuel and call it a day. A 1.6x launch is prolly about 7.2...which will cut it close for having no bar in the car for Sportsman Class.

fun dialing in a car :) so I installed the power logger software on my tablet so I could familiarize my self with it a local guy purchased one and I'm sure I will be helping him dial in his car I use tunerPro and its a little different to navigate and my logs are not compatible.
Brad what are the chances of getting a couple logs to review so I can wrap my head around things?

I went 11.55 with a 1.86 60ft but my mph was only 117. That being said, I didn't have the converter locked up. Makes me want to get a modern non-lock up verter.

117 unlocked is doing well. That's a 9/11 you have. Lock it and you'll be over 120. Larry, my files are on a separate laptop...with just PL on it and no internet. Best idea is to go to the other board...there's a million files posted. Any questions...fi re away.

no worries Brad just figured it would be simpler to decipher a log from someone who knew what they were doing it appears pretty simple to navigate with lots of useful data
