Did y'all see that tonight? He almose drown. Swimmers had to jump in and save him. I thought he was acting to make it more dramatic...nop e, he came up for air after over 7 minutes missing the record by almost two minutes. News says he's got liver damage now. That guy is amazing.

I have been impressed all to death by some of his stuff, but this hanging out underwater thing just seemed kinda dumb to me. I didn't see the near-drowning incident but I would *so* be willing to bet that it was staged.

I don't understand why he did the water thing.  He has done a lot of amazing things but the water thing did not impress me.....Why would he get liver damage that is my question?

Some of his street magic videos were fun to watch the first time.  The its the same thing over and over....Never got into all his other stunts...

ABC takes up TWO HOURS of primetime TV time to show 7 minutes of this moron attepting suicide? I don't know who's a bigger idiot, the program director of this Blaine dude!

They could have covered the whole thing in one of those You Tube videos.

I didn't watch either, but I saw him in the oversized fish bowl
on Good Morning America. I think if he hadn't of wasted his time in the bowl,
he could've done it. He'll probably try again just because of the
brain damage he recieved from the oxygen depravation.
