Title: coil to module wiring ?

so new module a  spare coil pack   hook up capers tester the red led comes on but thats it,  no  arcing across the holes
install old module to coil pack ok arcing across holes. 
so I'm assumes this supposedly new module is faulty,  but before i toss it i just want to make sure i wired it properly is there a diagram on what wire goes where?
