Been looking for a year on Kijiji for one of these...and they're tough to find. The rockers/cab corners rust terribly on them. This one's been Rust Checked and or oiled yearly. The gentleman that owns it is a licensed mechanic and has been absolutely anal about maintaining it. I'm strictly towing with it...and it'll be stored for the winter months. Dan and I are heading for Niagara Falls early Friday morning to pick it up and bring it home. We have to go through Toronto on the way there and back...which will likely be a nitemare for traffic.

This is the company we use up here. They pretty much guarantee it not to rust. My Impala SS has been done since day one...and has 200,000 miles on it...but you'd never know it...not a mark of rust anywhere. Frans 97 Camaro has been done regularly...an d has well over 200,000 miles on it...but the body and paint look damn near new.

Not easy finding a nice P/U that's in nice shape and been well maintained. I looked for close to 3 yrs for what I wanted

You guys need to make a trip to Texas and drive one home. It can double as a vacation. You could schedule up for next year when the gtg at the drag strip takes place.

What is your time worth. I guess if the thrill is in the hunt, it works out. But if you need a rust free truck, they are on pretty much every lot. Might have some miles though. I bought ours with 100k. We are at about 150k now. I expect it to get wrecked before the drivetrain needs attention.

K and N cold air kit is definitely going on it. Anyone suggest a good cat back exhaust?
