Worse part is the Mars water bomber is sitting on the lake. Air quality is pretty bad. Here is a satellite view

Damn!  Had a summer like that up in Alaska back in 2004.  Hated it. Couldn't sleep at night.  As far as I know, BLM has never contained a fire in Alaska.  They only direct the fires up there away from populations
