You getting in? If so 3600#
If not 3450# (no I don't know you and haven't seen you so you might weigh more than 150#, I don't know)

Am I close? Mine is about (or used to be when I was a young man) 3600# with me in it.

I'll be weighing it without me in it. I think there's a 1/4 tank of gas in it.

You should see my brain spinning making the calculation from American gallons to litres to get the octane level I want when I hit the track. I can't always get the same race gas octane from week to week...so I'm always having to bring the octane level up or down...and then adjust the high low timing on Erics chip to match it. I have Erics default race gas timing settings for every octane level. I'm gonna hoard a couple of pails of C16 for the fall. :)

We are switching to the metric system here too. Or at least they began telling us that back when I was in about third grade. Sure has been a long transition period. The only thing I can think of that changed is the soft drinks and their 2 liter bottles and water bottles with their 1/2 liter. I combat that by buying the 20oz bottles of water.

SO, has the weighing taken place yet?

I was 16 when metric was introduced...a nd I ain't learning it. :) The new car gas mileage estimates kill me. 7L per 100km's city...and 4L per 100 km's highway. What in the blue hell does that mean!

I used to run so we did a 10k race most weekends. This is equivalent to 6.2 miles. So how far is a km? I'm not real sure but I do know it is less than a mile.
I also know 3.8 L is a gallon. This is printed on many urnals and I have seen it while seeing a man about a horse. Beer comes in 12oz. Some in pints and then there are quarts. Lately there was tha 24oz can but Anheuser Busch saw fit to add an extra oz lately.
Other than that I'm unsure of the metric system.

No hurry on the weigh in , I was just wondering.

I weighed it in today at the certified CAT scales. It came in at 3520...with me in it. Weighed myself on the digital scales at work and I came in at 165.

Must be nice...cuz I had to take a crapload of weight out of this car to get it down to this. Dan Kellers GN weighed in at 3950 with him in it. These cars are all over the place for weight.

Found this: http://www.turbobuicks.com/forums/275393-post3.html (http://www.turbobuicks.com/forums/275393-post3.html)

I don't even recall what setup was on the car a decade ago.  I do know that the car has dropped some weight since: the sub, 3-pc wheels, hollow rear swaybar, tubular rear lower control arms, etc... but, then again I added the TH400.

And I am tipping the scales at a ripped 164lbs.  Leaner is meaner.

There was an interesting time when things like metric drywall would show up at the job site, 47 1/4 inches wide....
