How much beating have you done on this one? Enough to think more than the clutches and crosspin are worn?
I'm of the view, if you have the coin it is better to fix it with new things while you have it open. You can always unload the stock posi to recoup some funds.

The stocker will take a helluva beating. New clutches if everything else checks out.

It looked good in Sep when I added the set of Moser axles.I notice the cross pen had some wear  on it
Clutches looked good but I had no spec for thickness
Car makes a ratcheting  sound all the way to the 60ft, But over all look good

Hey for two hundred and some labor I say drop in the clutches and spring for a pin. I'm sure it'll go another hundredk.

This kit even comes with shims.

Here is some discussion on rebuild or replace.

Are you using the fluid modifier in the oil? Did you order a new set of clutches?

I have been running without the friction modifier for a while, but on the street it was just not fun.Drove like a spool at speed and through the corners it would just push the front tires.I added a bottle of GM modifier and fixed that, and all the low speed popping and snapping that really didnot bother me.
One slick must be spinning just a little and were not seeing it , on YouTub Pinecone 917 video my car makes the same sound

One side will probably give up a little on the launch, it is a limited slip... meaning expect some variance.  The other option is a locker; I was really close to buying one with our S60, but for the $200 difference I can rebuilt the clutches in this Tru-Trac twice.

When I get a beefy rear for the MCSS I will get a stout centre section.
