Gonna try and squeeze my POS to a 6.3 to a 6.5 next year. Question is this. Do I need to upgrade to a Champion fuel rail...or will the stocker take me there safely?
-
Do you think it is leaning out or on the verge of it? How much larger is the champion piece? I would think a larger feed line would be a better mod but I'm not running that quickly yet.
Id keep an eye on the numbers and the plugs.

I believe you will be fine

I think so too. The stock rail should be good for 9's on the 1/4. Size of Injectors will matter.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The 60's were pretty much maxed out at 6.7...so I'm going with 80's and a matching race chip from Eric...with plenty of high gear fuel added. Also going with the Racetronix fuel feed/return line kit and 340 LPH pump/SS hanger.

What is the determining factor for maxing out the injector? I guess what is a safe percentage?

PL was showing IDC in the 90's. Erics site says 60's are good for about mid 10's with race gas...which equates to the 6.7 I ran. He's a smart guy. :)

You'll do fine with the stock rail, but upgrading the size of the inlet and outlet would help.
