the 86/87 intercooled cars have a factory hook bracket bolted to the front of the pass side intakee manifold to lift the engine.
there wasnt one on the driver side, correct?
buick lowered the engine onto the frame hooked into the eyelet cast into the rear of the block on the driver side, correct?
thanks in advance for any help, I am still computerless and cant access my service manual on cd

I think I got it figured out.
I found a couple hot air and na lift brackets and forgot what was what.
-
I only remember one bracket on mine..but, then, I don't remember yesterday sometimes
-
best I can tell is the na's, ha's and ic'ds all had differant front lift brackets and the factory did just use the eyelet in the block for the rear hoist point.
I have a couple mint hot air ones if anybody wants them for shipping.
I'm still going through parts and sorting what I got left.

Just the pass side one.
What do you guys use on the other side of the engine when pulling the motor? Exhaust studs look to be the best way I see..
-
there is a eyelet (ring) cast into the block at the driver side rear

Didn't they all come with this lift bracket?(http://photoshare.shaw.ca/image/a/4/f/119991/enginelift-0.jpg?rev=0)
