I purchased a set from TA and they fit well (an exact match for the exhaust ports on my ported GN1's) but I wonder if they will create more back pressure than my stockers did. I'm just trying to get my combination into the mid to high tens (on race gas) without fighting it all the way.
Thanks for your comments

I don't think they will be a problem. If they are ported to your heads, then I think they will perform better.

any back pressure issue will be from the 61's exhaust wheel , not the headers
the stock (gm) are horrible compared to the TA
the TA stock are practically the same design as the TA race only with less sweep up on the passenger side and ball/socket connections instead of v band on the crossover
i put the TA stockers on a buddies WE4 with a CPT70 P , irons and 206 roller , he has runs mid 10s 126 at low boost

Thanks for the data point regarding your friends car.I had doors cut into my stock headers to eliminate the winking at the runner to log welds and did a lot of port matching etc. I'm just glad to hear some favorable mph's out of the new headers.
