Title: 2 step switch/trigger

So whats the best way to set up a 2 step?
Wire it into the brake light circuit? (have heard there could be a delay)
A heavy duty pressure switch attached to the brake pedal?
or a pressure switch similar to what is used for roll control on the shifter.

Drilled a hole on the far left side of the pedal.
