Do I remember correctly that the pivot point on the vacuum pedal is about half an inch above the location for the PM pedal....so that the vacuum pedal gives more leverage?

I converted my car to vacuum quite a while ago and remember modifying the powermaster pedal to get it to work. The pivot point for the vacuum is roughly 1/2" or so higher than the powermaster, so you have a good memory

They say the second thing to go is the mind.....   :D
With the clevis point being higher, does the power master enter the car at more of a downward angle, or does GM just let there be an angle involved ?

			-
IIRC there is an intermediate (angle creating) bracket twix firewall and P-Master

PM does have a bracket, don't recall if it had an angle, or not.   And, they are correct, Earl
