Title: New Z-28..
Post by: Forzfed on March 27 2013, 07:47:34 PM
What do you guys think of the new Z-28?  Beach, are you going to trade your old one in?  I like the fact that they dropped 300 lbs and added the LS-7.

they still look too big and square to me....I would rather have my '69 sitting on a modern suspension with a current drivetrain.  Actually I like the '67/68 body more than the '69 but I gots a '69 so I am being practical

I'm with you Steve given a choice a 67 or 68 with a modern drive train and suspension.

I like the way they flattened the 2014 out and she could eat crackers in bed ;)

Natasha and I love it... granted she was on morphine and had been recently given an epidural at the time we discussed buying one.

Oh and I am now a Dad. ;)

Thanks guys!

I just woke up from a 12 hour long nap... I am still unsure how/why Natasha allowed that to happen?

Tatiana was born at 2221hrs on 27 Mar 13, she came out weighing 9lbs 4.4oz and was 21" long...

Cutie for sure.

I think this is deserving of a new thread.

Thanks fellas!

The last few days have been pretty surreal.  Tatiana hasn't been a difficult baby at all; and I can definitely see how your priorities CAN change in an instant once there is someone who depends on you.  But, that doesn't mean that you stop being who you are just because you have a kid... it is just a realignment of duties.

Oil changes and diaper changes are both important. ;)

Funny... Natasha had that exact name on her short list, and I never even suggested it. ;)

Mike,

A little over 10.5 years ago when Lawrence was born you made that very suggestion for me and I enjoyed it.   :)

Enjoy being a Dad, it is a hell of a ride!!

Hard to believe we've been friends that long... and that we are both now parents (and still have our toys).  I am really enjoying it so far!

Outfitted the Mommy Mobile with some new wheels and tires. 20x8s and 20x10s wearing 275/55 and 305/50 Nitto NT420Ss.  I actually painted the front wheels myself using an HVLP gun and some Eastwood single stage paint. ;)
