A lot of variables there.

You supply springs, machinist supplies springs.
Valve stems are good.
New valves.
Guides are good.
Heads on the motor.
Heads off the motor.
Factory springs.
Aftermarket springs.
Machining involved.
Measured heights etc.

All depends on what you want.

I bought the valve springs already.  The guy who did my timing chain said valves are good.  Factory springs on factory heads.  Still on motor.

It would take me all day and about six
DP's.

With the right tool and a woman bitching at me, I would go with Scoob's 2.5 hr

Normally 6 DPs and a spring change would take about two days + (when done right).

Steve means Dr. Peppers. I had to ask for clarification myself a few years ago!  :D

Hey TB3, yeah im the one thats in Saint Louis.  Are you familiar with the process?  I would have to find a compressor as well to hold the valve up.  Just figured to pay to have it done the right way once.  Thanks a bunch for thinking to help me out tho!!   This is why i love TR owners and enthusiasts.
