If I can get enough heaters for my garage, I'm going to attempt to install the new gnx mounts. From what i read before, there are two mount sized holes in the cross member frame above the diff? If I can loosen the bolts for both sides #'s 6 and 7 body mounts will there be enough room to get the mounts in place?
Mucho gracious,
walt

the hole is right there on the top of the frame. remove the rear wheels for easier access. the bushing will fit perfectly in the hole.
I would very strongly recomend cutting the proper groove in a 5' long 2x4 to lift the body uniformly from the rocker panel.
remove your bumpers to not damage your fillers.
I'd also remove all your body bolts. be careful not to shift your body on the frame.
while bolts are out you can clean them up good and put some c5 on them to make it easy for future removal

similar way to lift the body.....

Take the bumpers off and unbolt the power steering reservoir from the body.
If the gas tank is bolted to the frame, take the rear fillers off too. I'm pretty sure it's bolted to the body though.

it is to the body....

What kind of difference will changing out the body mounts make?

Night and day. It'll feel like a different car. (and give extra clearance for the downpipe as the body will move up 1/4" to 1/2" off the frame)
