Does 93 & some E85 mixed in help. I mean if someones car can run 16lbs on 93 and has no knock will some E85 mixed in allow you to run more boost? Just curious.
-
yes, but you may have to add some fuel in the chip depending upon how much you mix in
-
and make sure your injectors aren't already maxed out before adding too much corn likker

I think you kind of set up yourself for a guessing game of how much boost you can run safely. By that I mean when I had my GN tuned, I knew exactly how much boost I could run on 91, 100, and C16. Especially with E85 since you need to run more fuel, just seems like you would have to really over think it.

I am not going to do the mix, I have my ALKY kit. But I've read alot of people are mixing and was curious if it helps.

i am playing with approximately a 25% mix right now i just went for a 3/4 throttle blast at around 23 Psi and my Alky injection set to 3.5 i got a 10.5 O2 with a 0.0 KR reading on the Scanmaster.
My tune is ALL Fumessedcked up as i just started working on it again. Anyway it felt great, i hope as my tune gets less bad  it should feel better. Just not sure if i will keep playing with the E85/93 mix OR just go straight to full E85. My ADD gets the best of me. :( Not done but moving on to the next thing anyway.

It should be no problem. But E-85 is 15% gas and that doesn't vaporize/mix as good as meth or ethanol flowing in the dog house. I remember the days of fueling the 7th injector setup and the tuning/puddling issues with it. A small mix should be great. More testing and results will only give the correct answer.

Remember on the Eth & Meth mixes: they don't "store" well. After you get your performance recipe figured out and put the car away for 2-3-4 months the damage is starting to happen. That white cakey, chalky, salty looking stuff is starting to make your life miserable. Find your favorite additive and use it.

also, I noticed that some fi hose is rated for no more than 20% ethanol...migh t need a more expensive solution
Look for mpi rated....
