got a new Alky chip from TT(4month a go) locking converter @85 that is all it took to get me to my target 11.90 ET
just installed A powerlogger thought I would see more RPM drop (150 rpm) than that?
any thoughts?
-
I would have guessed 250, but ymmv
On the other hand, you may be making enuf power to overcome the clutch lock and it may be slipping a little. Unless you have a good multiclutch converter, locking the converter usually wears out the clutch material (burns up) with time
-
convertor is a EDGE carbonfiber clutch
spent about a hour on the power logger Third gear CS factor and wallace racing converter slip calculator
PL speed reading will be low 100mph PL actual mph 104mph I see no speedo offset but I believe I have the proper CS%
32% @85 -12.7%@112 try trap speed
-
drive the car at a constant speed in third gear so the converter is locked...see if the cs is showing very close to zero...that will be about as close as you can get it...
-
got GN out today, got the CS down to 1% on the PL,
PL doesn't show 4th gear when it is in 4th,TCC light up,probably no big deal
-
4th gear switch is bad, it would seem. Don't think it makes any difference on the modern chips

Thanks for the post on turbo tweak forms.
This car gets a lot of shakas on the return road Im the only car in the 11.90 class going through the mufflers and not showing up on a trailer.
The forms have been a lot of help I have read Vortex several times
Got the CS to 1% I bet the 28 in slicks will change it again but no big deal,Edge said let her rep the clutch will take it
