So what happens if you run an NA crank- say sub 400HP?
Other than the Radius any other differences?
-
should be fine, imo
-
what would be the limits on a NA crank?
-
I have seen them in the upper elevens.
the problem with all the cranks these days is the number of cycles and abuse that they have undergone. If the crank is low mileage, then it should be a lot stronger with regard to future life than one that has 150,000 miles of hard running...
It may be that a standard crank (NA crank) is actually in better condition with regard to metal fatigue that a turbo crank that has been hammered on for years

Didn't Banning run high 10's with a 40 over block and NA crank? I know many over the years who ran 11's and low 12's with it. Not my choice to do it.

He sure did! I know that a few posts mentioned this about his engine.
Altho, I guess like any parts the Tuning plays a big role in the 10's
