I have some rail mounted gauges on the TRs... This would be a bit more portable - but no way to know which is accurate. :(

One thing we know is that rail mounted gauges are less likely than others to be accurate and are more for looks than any useful purpose.
The HF is probably a cheap gauge...try it against a known. You can always buy a quality gauge and replace that one if it is not accurate

Pretty much. I'm sure there's some around here - but I'm not in a local GN "clique" or anything.

I don't think the accuracy of the gauge is as important as the quality of the crimps and lines. 16 bucks? I do enjoy Pyro stuff though.
