those cars are nice

The host needs to work on his automotive vernacular, as he keeps relying on the same kitschy phrases/terms over and over. He clearly lacks the technical know-how and is more of a marketing/product pusher.
But, yes. Very nice cars indeed.

I had a 69 or 70?? Coronet RT with the scoops on the hood but similar to that one. Came with a 383 4 speed. I had no $$$ & little tools but I swapped the 340 from my Dart into it. I have 1-2 pics in my photo album. It was primer grey with Red interior!! Cragar SS rims 410 rear end that was lots of fun in the city but I never saw the track with it. Man that car brings back so many memories!!! :player:

Sometimes i wish i was born long ago so i could enjoy the days of low gas prices and beefy muscle cars. Those cars laid the foundation. every time i see an old car with loud pipes, i get amped. dont even kno what im lookin at half the time

If your were born long ago then you would be bald like Steve and Me today

Nice video but the guy has his facts a little screwed up. Nothing started in Astoria other then great Greek food.
Connecting Hwy( Astoria) racing came along years after Brooklyn racing and car building and Cross Bay in Howard beach. I know the cars in the video and all look better in person :atbeer:

And grumpy because we could-have/did-have-and-sold those cars for a few hundred bucks back then. :sw:

I sold my 65 SS Impala 327 conv. for $500 for a down payment on my 69 Olds 442 W30. I sold my 66 Tri-power goat for $1200. Those cars today are all over $50K each
