Title: body bushing ?

ok working on the kids t ...
i notice bushing gone ok look around alot are gone...
but the rotted part of the bolts are still in some..
ive never changed one sooo
any advice on fixing this problem?
i tried to gete him to parts it out an scrap the rest but hes very stubborn

What are you asking? You fix it by replacing the bushings, and it sounds like you will need to replace the hardware too.

good luck unless you have a lift...they suck to replace...all rusted up...

ya i kinda figured the removal part..
i guess what ii should have asked is what can i do when the bolts are rotted off an still partially inside the floor pan?
other spots the bracket that holds the attaching plate has rotted off the floor pan
im thinkling drilling a hole thru the floor pan an dropping a bolt thru that an tightening it that way

Normally, one cuts a hole and goes thru the top and rewelds the bolt plate back in....that may require refabbing one if the rust is extensive..... dropping a bolt will still require a solid plate and one will have to lift the body a lot higher to get the bushings in and out....
