I lived in Nevada for 3 years, so I could give a fuck less to go see Lance Burton make a fist disappear in his backside or watch a gay Austrian get eaten by a tiger.....so, I'll go to those things as long as they are near a bar. I do, however, stand by my offer to take whoever to the Hoover Dam.

Dude, no shit- I was watching "Haunted Travels" a few nights ago and they said that the Liberace museum, as well as his restaurant/bar nearby are reportedly haunted as all get-out. I wanna go there and get tanked and start making gay jokes to see if shit don't start levitatin' and all.

I often do things in life just because they'll sound cool when I tell the story later- so, getting hammered (get it?) at Liberace's bar will be cool. I'm gonna want a DD or a taxi.

Yeah, the first night we went bullriding...m e and you came back and drank that 12 untill about 7am...about 10am you woke up flipping us off then proceded to the grocery store to buy the goods for the lunch you cooked us.

I was just wondering how RR got to his motel the first night after the bullriding...I forgot, he didnt go.

With stories like this we'll be able to write a book!

That sucks. It makes you kind of wonder if one of the higher ups in the
union is on the take, and that this may have been a deliberate action
to defraud you and other workers of their due rewards....

I was hoping to meet you in Vegas. Sometimes you can score a travel package
and go rather cheap. Especially, if you're willing/able to fly mid week.

I brought my taxes to my accountant today. Lets see what happens...

It's a handful of old pricks that are unhappy with the company, they didn't let the members vote on the last offer. We have 3 of 18 aircraft flying. I met the strike chairman Sunday..he said Hi am Capt Robnison and I'm the strike chairman..I said Hi I'm Jim and should I get my bat now or later..told him that striking is not the answer and it's putting lots of folks out of work...all he had to say was BS...PRICKS

Had a friend that got a job at a restaurant so the owner could cross the picket line during a strike and go back to work at International Paper.  First day on the job he was standing next to the window and was shot at with a rifle, broke the glass and just missed him.  Some union guys get all kinds of crazy about a job they probably hated in the first place. :smt070

I have a few friends and relatives that work in union shops.
One friend was unfairly fired for leaving work to go to the
hospital, where he was admitted for 3 days. The union got him
his job back. Another time the union (same place, different friend)
was negotiating a new contract, and was close to striking. They
wanted union members to go to various places of buisness of their
customers with signs on their vehicles and take up as many parking places as
they could. (illeagal activity) Fortunately it didn't go that far, but they
were planning to. I'm on the fence as far as my opinion of unions is.
They do both good and bad. I think at one time they were essential.
Nowadays, I think the for the most part, cause more harm than good.
I honestly think that they are a major cause for the downfall of the
American automobile industry. I'd be willing to bet, that most union
auto workers earn more money for repetitive semi skilled labor, than
I do as an automotive technician. Not to mention, that they aren't required
to purchase the vast array of tools and test equipment that I have to.
*steps off of soap box*

We may have to cancle the Vegas trip and go to Atlanta. I dont need a bat, I'll bring my microphones... let them sing in the one they choose. Be careful Jim with the threats, someone might take you seriously and try to harm you. If I was in the ATL right now I'd escort you home at night. I'm kinda pissed that I feel your threatened.

Jim mentioned to me today that the pilots are delaying flights for the troops in Iraq. Thoes guys want to get home to their families and not be stalled by the assholes who are on strike and sitting at home with their kids. Thoes pilots should stand trial for war crimes. Crimes against humanity. Their fucking with the emotions of the men and women that are protecting us...making them think there comming home.

What about a class action lawsuit for Jim. He's losing money and it's not his fault. Give the pilots raises then garnish the cost thats affected others.

Unfortunately I could not justify spending $1000+ for a 2 night/1.5 day weekend in Vegas with a bunch of bucketheads.

I still have to take my wife on at least 2 vacations this year (one to Europe) which will consume my vacation budget for the year.

I paid a little more for my ticket this
time, so I could get non stop flights.
Last time I went, I flew US Airways with
one stop over each way for $333 round trip. Natty found
the rooms for $99 a night. I didn't have
to spend all that much last time. You should
be able to do it all for $800. Shop around

Why the fuck are y'all getting rooms? I dont charge anything and I even provide air beds, pillow and blanket.

Heres a little story while I was out...

Remember that hundred dollars I had saved? Well, one night I was so bored that I decided to take the bill and risk it on gambling. If I lost It I would be explaining it to y'all. But I tripled it! I spent 14 hours at the Palms, Hit the jackpot with ony one penny bet (if it were only a dollar I bet) I won $250 with one single penny. Now I have about $360. I went to three card poker and ended up hitting a $300 three of a kind. By this time I'm kinda lit from the beer so I cant remember how much I had...over 5 I'm sure. Played more slots and craps with some rappers from LA. I was trashed when I left. Woke up the next day with $306 next to my bed!!! Since then I decided to spend a bill on stuff I needed but I have $200 saved for us now. I'm so proud I doubled that shit!!! Dont worry, I'm not going to risk the 2 bills.

I can buy air beds for $9.99 + pillow $5 + blanket $5. Y'all can save nearly $300 staying with me.

As far as the beer and food goes, theres only two things that matter right now. 1, My car, 2, y'all. Dont worry about beer money and, dont hold me to this, but I should have enough comps at the Palms to get us some food comps. I'll ask around work to see if anyone has any connections at the Palms to get more.

Dont worry about money, like I said....My car and y'all. If you can make it to Vegas I'll do my best to make sure NO ONE will go without!!! You have my word! I want to kinda make this a "thank you for being there" party. I want to be a provider!

One way or another, we'll work shit out. No one should bail on us over concerns of room/beer money/etc. Did any of that matter last time? Shit no- we made it work. Natty, I hope you're still planning to bring a small amp. I brought my No. 1 Jackson last time, but I get nervous about housekeeping personnel, so I think I'll buy a case for my Rhoads and drag that out this year. Rob, I encourage you to bring a fiddle as well. This will be a kick ass Buick/beer/Natty's birthday/my CD release/Robert housewarming/teach Rob to say R's/let's go look at cocktail waitresses' boobies party!

I don't know if the TSA will allow that. You're not supposed to lock your luggage anymore in case they decide to search it. As much as I'd love to bring some

Rob, I took a guitar on the plane last time I flew out your way and I just duct taped the shit out of the case so that no one would F with it....I was nervous, but it turned out okay. I'm sometimes sketchy on seafood, but I've got total faith in Natty.

I don't know if the TSA will allow that. You're not supposed to lock your luggage anymore in case they decide to search it. As much as I'd love to bring some
equipment with me, I don't know if it'd be practical ?
The tape would be easy to open if they needed to. They didn't give me a hard time about it. I was nervous until I got it back in my hands at Logan, for sure.

Do you have a guitar with a bolt on neck? You can remove the neck and carry both with you. I could also bring 2 Strats too, but they have high action and are tuned to standard pitch with 12 - 56 strings. They sound like pianos.

I'm thinking of locking the case, and zip tying an extra key to the handle with
some extra zip ties inside. Or maybe taking Natty up on the loaner Strat.

Start working your hands out now! Naw, what size do you use? I can set it up to your specs, no issues.

Leave it as it is. I can adapt. I've played all sorts of guitars/actions/string sizes
over the years. No Problem.

Sounds good. I look forward to it. Damn, now I'm thinking about bringing a rythym module so that maybe we could get a little live-action on VIN 7.  :evil;

I spent the last 2 Vegas get togethers looking through a lens and almost want to say 'screw that' this time, but then again, I guess it would be cool to have a little souvenir DVD to send out to everyone, so maybe.

The only problem I have is being scared to death that I'd lose it. I think I have a phobia.

Just pass it around. Let everyone have a hand in it. That'll really make the video !

Ahhh....I know both of your cars and look forward to seeing them again. If I wasn't going north from Vegas afterward, I'd tow mine out.
