Title: Front sway bar

Another question. As I'm going to replace all the bushings, front and back, and insall the Hellwig rear sway bar. Would I get much benefit from also adding the Hellwig front sway bar ( part # 5700) in daily driving. From reading Steve's site I would remove it for track days. I can get one for $160

I would not change the front bar unless I found a tubular bar to save some weight.

Be sure you are checking the ball joints, tie rods, and idler arm as well as all the control arm bushings

Unless you are in the tens, I would not worry about disconnecting the front sway bar for racing....car always handles better if you have to make a sudden evasive maneuver if the bar is connected

I installed a tubular f body front bar on my car. Half the weight and the car is definitely more stable. I picked mine up for $35 used locally

I bought a tubular 1-3/8" front sway bar made by DSE from Scott W. at www.GNSperformance.com (http://www.GNSperformance.com).  It was $225.  Seems to work fine, but then again I just love to spend money on cool guy parts for my car!

Oh, btw, I still have my Hotchkis front sway bar that I had to take off because it would not work with the front mount intercooler tubes.  If you have a stock location intercooler it will work.  It has 5000 mi of use on it.  Let me know if anyone wants it.
