ok setting my cam sensor followed the instructions on steveds site
question my sensor only reads 6.5 v on my meter and no matter how much i turn it the voltage doesnt change
what the heck am i doing wrong:?
thanks

got me. actual voltage is not important but it must drop
-
The wire in "B" does continue on to the ign module?
-
Its any help you can borrow my caspers tool?
I assume the brass wheel under the cap is tight & spinning as the motor turns over?
-
His car runs...therefo re the voltage has to be rising and falling. B goes to a buffer amplifer in the module
-
Hall sensors can show funny if they don't have their normal load attached- why I asked.

Good point...
don't disconnect the cam sensor while checking voltages....se e the factory diagram at the bottom of the page http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/cam_sensor.htm (http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/cam_sensor.htm) The voltage is checked with the cam sensor connector plugged in
