Pok guys i put the type Ii coik on and cannot get the firing order it seems. Can soneone tell me why the hell its not working? Also what sensor keeps the fuel pump from comming on?
-
The computer tells the fuel pump to come on for about two seconds and then turn off unless the engine is started. If it is turned off and the engine is later started, it turns back on. As delivered from the factory, if the fuel pump relay is smoked, then cranking the engine until more than 4 psi of oil pressure is built up will activate a back up circuit thru the oil pressure trouble light sender.
Here is the circuit http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/fuel_pump.htm (http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/fuel_pump.htm) at the bottom of the page.
I have never seen a type II system work properly under much boost, but, it should run. The instructions are on gnttype.org. I have not seen a conversion in years and consider them more of a problem than a fix so I am not much help.

All i have found on gnttype.org was part numbers. I cannot locate the firing order.
