All the fathers of racing are passing now and it's a shame. We'll be left with nascar wannabees that don't really know much about how to get the most out of an engine or even kow how to change the oil at the very least. Grumpy will be missed for sure. :(

It was a sad day to hear this.. I remember this MF Chevy guy with his little 65 or 66 Chevy II @ Atco for the Super Stock Nationals. I was a die hard Ford guy at the time. Grumps didn't win that day BUT  that car was flying !! Even as a Ford guy I had to go look at his "stuff" ..  Of course I didn't talk to him.. He was busy running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Then in 86 @ the Gators I actually spoke to him for a few minutes.. He was a charmer  :rock:
