ZDDP and their ilk make sense to me. I plan on using either ZDDP (I just got 4 bottles from Kirban's, had to burn up a PM core credit I had) or oil with the correct zinc content - especially in the GN.
Now - I have never used anything but Castrol or cheap motor oil in the T, and it seems fine. :hmm

they make no sense to me....way too much science out there on the subject. Anyone can find a consultant that will say whatever they are paid to say.
Plenty of good oils out there with more than adequate levels of additives that are blended together to work with one another for a proscribed mileage.

I'm using Valvoline Race Oil...not the off shelf brand, it's the off road use only.
