How far can you bore one of these 109's out too? What would be the minumum wall thickness you could go to...to handle say...24PSI? Just curious.

I know a few guys have gone .060 but the block was sonic tested first. Generally you shouldn't go over .040 to keep the cylinder walls stable.

Therein lies my question. What's the minumum thickness of the cylinder walls I can get away with? Getting a block sonic checked isn't an issue.

I have one that's .030...but is sleeved. Scored up from a piston pin getting loose.
