Title: Cam Selection Question
Post by: Scoobum on October 15 2011, 02:17:12 PM
I have a customer in need of a new cam...but that's on a budget. I found a 204/224 cam. I'm wondering if this would work well with ported heads, 3200 convertor and a 66 turbo.

I would like to say it would be fine, being on the exhaust side, but, I have never tried one that extreme.  Probably would be better on a turbo with a lot of back pressure...Cha rlie is the cam guru on turbo theory...altho my experience says street cars don]t know the diff.
