Title: Shock And Bushing Question
Post by: Scoobum on October 10 2011, 08:48:23 PM
I've installed new rotors and pads at all 4 corners on this 1994 Impala SS I picked up this summer. It's going into storage just before the snow flys...and I'd like to pick up a new set of gas shocks and front end link and front and rear sway bar bushings. I'd like a firm ride...but not to the point of something that breaks my teeth.

I would think a safe bet would be ACDelco performance models.

I think that would be instant mush.

I still prefer Bilsteins over just about everything other than even higher dollar Konis...The KYB's are supposed to be a Japanese copy of the Bilsteins, but, they sure don't give the ride or the control of the Billies.

I had a well worn, ex-sheriff's 9C-1 and that thing was an amazing handler for a big ol dawg.  It was ugly, but it would sure do the high speed cruise bit
