Motors out and partially tore down done need my a puller it was time!Pulled one rod bearing no copper, hope I can get away with a polish only on the crank machine shop will assess once drop it off.

Larry...how many km's on that engine...and how many 1/4 mile blasts?

40,000 KM and 15 or 20 passes. It was bored .30 over last go around by the previous owner had an after market chain and gears but still had the nylon button. Could it have been assembled to tight?

More pics the block side of things notice all the areas that took load show wear, funny how the front main shows more wear on the block side than the cap did, crank flex, bent crank?

If it were me I'd be asking your machinist to grab the elongated dial indicator and check the main saddle bores at the 12...3...6...a nd 9 o'clock positions...bo th inside and outside. I'd also be asking him to check the big ends on the rods for size.
