You're welcome. I've been adding Water Wetter in the GN and Motorhome also. They both seem to run borderline hot at times that I figured one more "edge" might help. FWIW.

I believe in Water Wetter, I use 1 bottle of that, and .25-.5gal of antifreeze to lubricate the WP bearings.

12 quarts according to the manual.
Waterwetter is about the worst of the lot and you definitely need lube additives in the form of antifreeze, or water pump lube with it.
I have never seen it change the temp, but, ymmv.
I still like the rmi-25 as it definitely keeps the radiator from plugging up with the precips out of the antifreeze or water.
A high volume water pump will probably do more to equalize temps in the engine than anything and a high flow thermostat works well in conjunction. Don't waste your time telling me that you don't want the water to go thru the radiator too fast because it will run hot.....

Dave, I had a bad feeling bout postin up. 200 a month for Alldata and that's what it gets me. Water Wetter is an experiment at this point. I've heard 50/50 opinions on it. My motorhome, towing the trailer to Ohio on the turnpike, went borderline pegged on the hills that last forever that I figured it was worth a shot. Going rounds in the GN in the Ohio heat, same thing, thought it was worth a try. May have to wait til next year to see if it works.

If you want to cool it down between rounds, an electric pump is good...otherwi se you can run the fan when you park it and try to get the radiator temp down....really, an adequate system should not get that hot on a 1/4 mile run.

The difference is about the capacity of the overflow, sounds close to me.
Discovered: plan A- there was no room to snake a siphon tube into this rad and plan B-I have no longer have pans that fit under the airdams to pull the lower hose off and drain . Maybe Sunday.....
You southern drivers and your water filled rads- weird, just doesn't happen here.

so you don't have a drain on your radiator? If not stock, then the guesses on capacity are just that

Exactly...an adequate cooling system. We get guys wandering into the shop wanting their engines rebuilt...with out any thot towards getting the rad recored and a new water pump. Absolutely kills me.
