Allright. I promised you guys real world results from this turbo...so here they are. Track prep was horrid tonite...as you can see by my short time. After this run I went over and talked to the "big tire" guys...and the best short times they could muster were 1.6-1.7's...so I didn't bother to make another run. 02's were 768...and boost was 20 PSI.
RT-.545
60 Foot-2.072
1/8th-7.867
1/8 MPH-94.29
1/4 ET-12.050
1/4 Mile MPH-117
I crunched the numbers for torque convertor slippage-12.6%
-
Almost forgot. I left Erics chip on the default settings for this run.
-
That's about 11.4 on a 1.6 short time. For 20 psi, I think we can say the turbo is working. I think you done good as they say in certain areas
-
You running 28" tires on the back?
-
28X9 MT slicks
-
I never thought much of the MT slicks, but...they should work...the longer foot print seems to work better than the shorter and wider
-
Tire prices are absolutely stupid up here. I'm constantly checking Kijiji for 28" slicks. Like to try a different brand...but like they say...beggars can't be choosers.
-
with modern drag radials, I think slicks are pretty close to obsolete
-
I agree...but the price for those up here is prohibitive.
-
That's about what you should expect for 20 PSI...A better 60 ft and boost 23 to 25 will put you on the door step of tens...If I was confident I have my boost creep under control I'd go to the track and try out my 6262...
