These seats are out of a 2009 Challenger. Had to rework my new floor pans, but, these are way more comfortable than what passed for seats in 1973
-
They look great, Steve..
-
I have not tried to fit the rear seat yet...may have a head room problem, but, I have so many things to work on....
-
Slick.
-
and feels so good!
-
Those would look bad ass in a GN. May I ask what you paid for them?
-
I paid $600 for front and rear. Came out of a 5000 mile car that the owner wanted to put the SRT seats in...so he did. Think I got lucky because I see them on ebay for twice that
-
Not bad. The back look like they are a lot higher than stock..
-
they might be a couple of inches higher...they sit across the top of the hump rather than dropping around it....that is the reason I am worried about head room...altho, let's face it, I never have anyone in the back anyway...cage it and forget it
-
That has got to be a blast to drive...
-
I want to see pics of the 440 six pack
-
Interesting transplant.
So when is the cage going in?
AJ___
-
No six pack...ultimat ely I would like to stick a modern hemi in it...not only for looks, but, nothing spoils you like fuel injection. Of course one could go six pack FI. Can go that way on the 440.
Cage will be last thing.....this is to be a "handler"
-
Looks nice Steve!

What's the cfm in that puppy? Plans to boost it ?
AJ___
-
No plans for boosting...I am simply trying to build an old car that handles like a new muscle car. Hence the interest in a gen 3 hemi with an aluminum block...weighs less than the current 440. Those intakes can be had with 900-2300 cfm. One 4b will carry up to 600 hp so no need for ornaments.
This is what I have done so far this year-now, I am broke again and have no goats to sell so not much is going to happen other than sorting things out better-good thing, too, because I am old and tired. Ordered some Purple Hornies for a temporary exhaust until I can afford a 3" full system. My ears are ringing from working on it in the shop with it coming right out of the collectors. Good thing I am already deaf.
Hotchkis suspenison/1.03" torsion bars/Race Dynamics Bilstein shocks, ball joints, hd tie rod ends. Reinforced steering box mount/rebuilt steering box.
Repaired frame rails, Milled intake, new cam, double roller chain, shimmed rocker arm shafts, different oil pan for better clearance, Quick Fuel carb, new carpet, seats out of 2009 Challenger, new floor pans, stripped vinyl roof, patched rusty roof, Painted hood, rear spoiler, removed stripes. New higher stall torque converter. New brakes (pads, shoes, calipers, drums, lines, hoses) New inner fender passenger side

Looks good Steve......mak e me a deal on the El Camino and you might have the cash to finish it :chin:
In 2nd thought the wife might kill me for spending more money (just had to fix the gearbox and ordered a scatter shield while I was at it.) - and I don't have a place to store it.
-

I thought we were talking about cars...yeah, I have a F150 with close to 300,000 miles on it
-
Well if you ever decide to off load the Challenger let me know...would love to have something like that (because one headache isn't enough).

How long to those fainting goats stay "fainted"?
Can you stack them? :)

I suppose that depends on the relationship Steve has with the animal pharmacy. ;)
