Title: Pypes exhaust
Post by: daveismissing on June 11 2011, 03:40:43 PM: While some of you slept-in on Saturday I drove to Buffalo and picked
up the Pypes exhaust.

For those that haven't seen:
Nicely packed in bubble wrap, looks fairly complete.

Sorry, missed that.
Summit seems best priced, no oversize charges.

Sound? - Street Pro is very close to stock, maybe a tad louder.
Probably not what most of you want but I'm pleased.

MUST buy SS step clamps - pipes a tad too short, hopeless w supplied clamps.

Post by: Steve Wood on June 18 2011, 12:46:12 AM: Positioning and patience are everything when installing a new exhaust. Normally, I have had to trim rather than being too short. I think it tends to work itself out if you get the tail pipes where you want them and work forward rather than starting at the cat end and going backwards....
