Title: Cooling fan coming on at 125
Post by: challengermike on May 15 2011, 11:10:25 PM: What would cause my cooling fan to come on at 125 according to my scanmaster reading.I have a TT 5.6 chip.It was always coming on at 150 since i built the car and i thought that was normal,but other people say erics chips are set for 166.This car does have a replacement ecm from napa in it since i put it together.Im not sure if it would be an ecm,sensor or wiring problem.

Post by: Steve Wood on May 15 2011, 11:50:38 PM: being that it gets it's low speed command from the chip via the ecm, the first question I would have is-the ecm coolant sensor reading properly? Does your temperature gauge read the same as the scanmaster?
