my brother has one and loves it. believe it or not the suctioncup that goes on the outside of the car works really well

Not sure. Sounds good though.

It's supposedly ruggedized, and most of the cost has to be the cases, mounts, brackets, etc. Comes with a shitload of them.

know what? thats a good question, the quality isnt much off from a flip (see video's above) and i dont think thats on top quality. i think he said if he got the bigger memory card he can record up to 5 hours?

That's another thing. MSRP and most places sell these fro $299.00, and it doesn't come with an SD card. WTF?
