Title: Steve can you answer this?
Post by: Jordan_J on May 02 2011, 10:16:02 PM
I was driving my Buick on saturday and the O2's dropped to 000 and BLM's went to 90 when I came to a stop and it was idling but when I took off the car sputtered a second like it was running rich and once I got rolling a couple miles per hour or RPM past 1200 or so it smoothed out and the BLM jumped to 128 and O2's bounced around like normal. Think the O2 sensor is going out or something?

no, I cannot...lol

Seems contradictory. ..O2 said the car ran out of fuel, while the blm said the car was too rich and pulled all the fuel....or vice versa.  I am guessing the blm went first in response to something.

I would have wondered what the maf was reading at the time, I think.....wond er if the translator had a hiccup?

Hmm, thanks for the info Steve. I'll keep an eye on it if it happens again I'll try to get more info from the scanmaster. I really need to buy a Power Logger...

No, for some reason I have not had a drink in a year....even been drinking milk lately in addition to Dr Pepper.  You ever notice that milk has more calories than DP?

Oh, I prefer Bohemia even tho I bowl overhanded.

I learned yesterday that you have to check the fluid level in a TF when it is in neutral=not park.  Apparently it does not circulate fluid in Park unless the valvebody has been modded.  I guess that is the reason it seemed to take so much fluid?  Oops...

Now explain the Mopar mystique, why the tin-iest sh*t boxes of the 70's are now the most valued cars?
:)

PS: I'd still like one

they were just the latest fad and there were lotsa rare models.....kin da like the bionic man, we can rebuild it better than it ever was.   Some are quite distinctive looking..  I would not mind having one of those big ol' Chargers
