My friend's T is having issues, it wants to stall. It was running fine, then suddenly it wanted to die...he had to ride the brakes at stops to keep it running and limp it home.
He as able to idle it for a few minutes today:
AF 04
L8 23
Btry 14.1
INT 129
BLM 130
MPH 0
CLT 121
ATS 65
RPM 675
TPS .42
IAC 175
CC 200
MAL 0

Massive vacuum leak?

if he keeps it running until it warms up to 160 degs, do the iacs come down to normal?
That is the odd ball looking number at the moment.

Massive vacuum leak?
He said he checked them all, but we'll take another look this weekend when we get a chance.

the iac is a pulse driven solenoid so yes, the iac
You unscrew the old one and screw the new one in...be sure to only snug it down as I have seen people crack the plastic housing by leaning on the wrench

Probably one of the easiest repairs you can make.

Thanks, I have two NIB in my parts stock...he'll just have to buy me a new one :)

Did the IAC reset and TPS adjustment and all is well.
He has a bit different setup than stock, on the bottom of the TB is an adapter plate that turns the IAC out about 45 degrees. On my car the adjustment screw has a plunger tip on the end, his just had threads the entire length.

The IAC adjustment fixed it? Cool!
-
I have the offset adapters too. gives more clearance
