Title: State Income Tax
Post by: DCEPTCN on February 20 2011, 03:38:14 AM
Does your state have it? How much higher would it have to get before you'd actually move to another state? After 9 years of dealing with cutting the state of New Mexico checks, I'm planning on heading back to Nevada. I am sick and fucking tired of paying for services that I don't partake in. I believe Mark is off the hook in Florida...and Bryan in Tennessee as well...?

Yep. none here - for now.
Our sate constitution doesn't allow for one, but with Skeletor in office, the ban on almost all grouper fishing (HUGE source of revenue for the state) shit like the BO oil spill effecting tourism - they may try to find a way to institute one.

As you said, no income tax in TN but they do have a high sales tax. TX looks very good on most taxes and depending on what happens here, I may look at TX.

Income taxes are paid to the State of WI. Thankfully they usually owe me money, planning on doing mine after the great American race this afternoon.

I'm going to invent my own religion and ordain myself as a minister. I'll keep up the act by posting some doctrinal horseshit online from time to time...which wouldn't be a huge leap for me.

Less taxing, more child-touching.

You can also opt out of Social Security....th at is a plus!!!! But only on income from your ministry. Tell them to send you money or kittens will die.
