Figured it's high time we did this again because of all the new signups.
'87 GN:
.030 over, forged pistons, chip from Eric, Ramchargers dual fans, RJC powerplate, Mototron 60's, Red's XP fuel pump, (had) Terry Houston, (had) PT51, (had) Dutt neck, GTAs, Mickey DRs, high perf springs, ATR headers, Pat's converter 10" 3500 stall, LS1 MAF...that's all I can think of. Want to go with the RJC FMIC and downpipe, GT6776.
'83 T-Type Limited:
A dead abortion in the driveway. Hope to rebuild/restore to a good looking daily at some point.

87 WE4
TE-44, precision stretched stock location IC 60# injectors, RJC plate, THDP, 3" single shot, TT chip, and other stuff i dont remember. in the process of switching to e85. :supz:

My first GN was bone and it was a damned trustworthy vehicle on many a cross-country roadtrip. God bless unopened motors.
-
i can second that. my TR i have currently i have done nothing more to the motor then injectors and head gaskets and it gets 18-20 mph highway. also gets me pretty much everywhere long distance. i have taken it out of state and across the state quite afew times.

Jesus, what do you live at, like 12,000 feet elevation? You've got way more in that setup. :supz:
-
See the sig. I'll have my alky kit on in the next couple months too.
I haven't run it at the strip but I know at 5 pounds of boost it can take a mid 13 sec Z28. The previous owner had it run a couple of 7.6's @ 90 mph in the 1/8 but that was at 17# and 19* so it should be a little quicker right now anyway.

We bought our 86 GN to race for our son Thomas after he got out of the Jr. Dragster. He started school at UTI so I ran it last year. It's nothing special, we just wanted to continue to have fun bracket racing at Maple Grove and Cecil Co. but ended up racing more with our MAGNA bunch than anything. I ran in Pinks at maple Grove last year, running low 11's, had to weight it to stay in 11.50 index. That's pretty much the last it ran respectably. Steve might remember I had issues with it starting in June and still continue to wrestle with it. As a family we enjoy the track life, Thomas now brings his girlfriend when she's home from college. Hope this year goes better, I'm gonna soon get it out of the garage and make it see things my way, maybe you guys might have some thoughts.
.020 JE forged pistons, forged rods, steel crank, line bored and balanced, Champion heads, 60lb. injectors, front IC, TE60, TT SD chip, PL, Powerdex WB, Turbo 350 w/reverse manual valve body, C2 9" convertor, HE Performance custom cold air pipe. We run 110, no alky yet. Still have my 69 442 conv. I bought when I was a sr. in HS, 1975. Rebuilt my 1972 GMC Fleetside, turned out nice, DD 1994 Park Ave. Ultra turned 15.80 at the Grove 178K on the clock. I haven't figured how to post pic's here yet, if you want, I have some at MAGNA and Facebook: Gary Schatz Garage LLC till I figure it out.

My 3 cars are an 83 T Type, an 82 GN, and an 83 Regal. Not much going on right now other than side work but the 83 T is getting a much better turbo than stock and the 83 NA is probably going to end up as a parts car for the other 2. :bigeyes; :redfaced;
-
any pics of the 70 Opel
Yes, but do not get excited. It is a project that is nowhere close to done.
