Maybe the muslims should have thought about this 1st:
Koran(9:11)
For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
Note the verse number!

Are you fucking serious!?!?!? WOW is right!

I have to see this one. My bud used to be Muslim, but he decided he missed ham and bacon. I'm serious. That and he felt that the whole scene was sketchy.
Anyway, I'll get his Koran sometime. If this is true, which I'm sure it is, I'm making t-shirts or something.

I hate to be a buzzkill...but, it's a hoax (http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/quran.asp)
Claim: Quranic verse speaks of the "wrath of the Eagle cleansing the lands of Allah."
Status: False.
Example: [Collected on the Internet, 2003]
Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
Origins: No, this isn't a legitimate quotation from the Quran (or Koran), the sacred text of Islam. The chapter and verse citation quoted above is a leg-pull, an obvious play on the USA's (the Eagle) launching of military action against Afghanistan and Iraq (the "lands of Allah") in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks on America organized by Osama bin Laden (the "son of Arabia awakening a fearsome eagle"). That the chapter and verse selection match the date of the terrorist attacks (9:11) is another giveaway to the joke.
Depending upon which translation of the Quran one uses, the section corresponding to chapter 9, verse 11 actually reads something like this:
But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

Typical,
I learned of this froma friend who is a devotted christian. He claims the priest spoke of it after church. No wonder I'm not a fan of organized religion. No offense to the ppl that are. Just my opinion.

It's things like that make you stop and think for a second....Is there something really there?
Then it all comes back as a hoax. It's thoes wonderful stories that are ment to trick people in believing in something thats a lie. If it wasnt for Gordy people would be like "see! there is a higher power....PROOF!!!!". Then the story spreads and more people say "holy shit! there is a god!!!"
I'm with Gogo, organized religion is such a scam. They scare you with lies and then get your money, 'cuz if you dont donate, god will be pissed, you'll look like a cheap ass at church, and god will punish you...its a no win situation!
