i wanted to vent about my car not ever running for more then afew weeks with out somthing going wrong... :mad: my last TR ALWAYS had problems. so of course i tore it to pieces and ran outta money and sold it for money to fix the OTHER TR. which made it about 8 months b4 my luck caught up to me. now my car is BACK in the shop after comming out 2 weeks ago. and of course they prolly hate me right about now because i call them every few days going why the hell dont u have any news for me :atbeer: . :hammer: :rant: ok that is all.

If you aren't doing the work, find a new repair shop - stat.

i normally do the work but i draw the line at electricle. this car has been a wiring nightmare. but i did get a call from the shop today and he told me the head lifted over the #6 and didnt seat right. the AC bracket was broken and knocking around giving me false knock. so in theory my car detonated and made the head lift. he said thats the only thing he can think of. he is going to replace the head gasket and do something about the AC and of course its costing me an arm and a leg. good knews is that my car has 250,000 miles and should be ready to race at BOP on the 5th lol

I've been wrenching for years, and never had silly shit like AC brackets just start flopping around.

my problem is im cleaning up somone elses mess. and to give u an idea of how bad this car is, when i bought it the guy has the trunk wire for like 6 amps, and god knos how many subs, he took off the AC condencer but left the compressor on. he took out all the wires under the hood from their harnesses and drove it around so they were all nice and melted together. so i guess as i talk about it considering the car still runs it prolly a miracle.

Mine has not been a daily driver since 1995 when some punk tried to steal it and smashed the column. Needless to say he couldn't get it started...

i feel sry for who ever tries to steal my car, I am usually never far away from it, and i carry a .45 1911 locked an loaded. an lets just say ive been waiting on the chance to use it.

ya, because by the time they get my to court i will plead PTSD. its for pre deployment and for post deployment... u can do most anything and it will get u a very light sentence. crazy aint it?

What kind of advice were you hoping for with so little information given to us? Is your knock sensor properly torqued? What octane level are you running? Which turbo and at what boost? Do you have enough injector for your setup? Is there a possiblilty of false knock (retard)?

Yep - not enough info. What's your fuel pressure? Any vacuum leaks?
Seems to me the issue with you (and your car) is not getting the very basics right.
I see it a lot. People frustrated with their cars for similar shit but the BASICS aren't done.

lol sry, wasnt thinkin about it, my GF was in a wreck and i was kina pissed. damn drunk drivers. shes fine though. was hoping for some advice on where to start. but at the present moment im messing with thw trans.

Start here and work your way through their site - especially on getting a correct baseline tune.

TPS, vacuum leaks, FP reg, etc- all of the basics - then worry about trying to make it go fast.

Sounds like a plan... now to wait for my trans bracket so I can get a baseline and still drive it.
