Title: Best Looking "Retro" Car?
Post by: Zap on June 29 2009, 08:59:11 PM
After seeing them all, my vote goes to the Dodge Challenger, although I like all 3 a lot.

Being a past owner of a 67 RS/SS Camaro I still like Challenger best.

I don't think the Camaro catches the essence of the old Camaro. FAIL. Dodge wins this one - big time.

I like Challenger best out of the three. All are nice and if someone gave me one that might sway my vote

Unfortunately I have to agree with Zap that the Challenger looks better, but I would never buy one.

Challenger by miles!  I have tried to like the new Camaro but I just don't :vom: .  Mustang gets 2nd best.

I'm on the fence with this one. I like all 3. I work next door to a Ford dealer, so I see all the cifferent Mustang variations. Many of them are still selling for more than their sticker price, even in this economy.

I really like the looks of the Challenger (It's MOPAR!), but I would rather own the Camaro for performance.   :supz:

I dig the Camaro, I'm over the Ford' and the Challenger still looks like a Micro Machine to me.

I saw a new Camaro blast by a couple days ago. Looked better in person, I have to admit.

After seeing them all, I decided to support America by buying a new '09 Cadillac CTS-V, thunder grey exterior, ebony interior, Recaro seats, suede wrapped steering wheel &gear shift knob, navigation, standard painted rims, & best of all no sunroof treatment, 556 Hp, 551 TQ, supercharged. I am totally in awe of this car. Brought it home about 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, lightened my piggy bank considerably. Not even broken in yet. About 80 miles on it so far. Unfortunately, no pics. My retirement present to myself, with my hopeful retirement about 8 months away. Life's good. And naturally I kept the turbo brick, * still using the vette for dd chores.

My Lotto car is either a CTS-V or a BMW m3. The hard part is winning the lotto.

J/K, dude. But I do love the CTS-V, can't wait to break it in, can't wait to remove the bottom of the stock air box & have a tune done. Supposedly 20-30 RWHP & RWTQ on that alone. $5k-$7.5K will put these at slightly under 600 RWHP & an 11.7 street Caddy. Think about that for a while.

I use it to collect loose flying dust in the shed.

I would not mod that thing for a while.  Why on earth would you need more power?  :)  What is the warranty period on it, 5yr/ 100,000mi?

That angel could be heading in the wrong direction. Should be a little darker, too.
I'll look on the warranty. What do I need a warranty for, I don't take it out enough to break it.
