this poor car was my first TR ..and well it was a northern car. I drove it for a year and then the rust got to be too big of an issue. Now it is slowly being canabilized to keep the other two going.

I was really happy with the GN107T cam that I got from Poston.....ton s of extra pull on the top end and not too much lope at idle 'cause it's just a 202/202. I just got my dual fans from Ramchargers the other day and am still marveling at how much of a difference they make.

High tens. My fuel and tranny needs to be upgraded for anything faster. I'll definatly try to get a mid to low 10 timeslip but not without help from someone that can help me tune it perfectly.

do you have Direct Scan? Nice setup and the files you create can help your chip guy write a program for your engines particular needs.

I've got a buddy with Direct Scan- we hooked it up to my car last weekend and I couldn't believe the information he was able to get from it.

I got a few sets of 8445 heads in my garage I'll get round to cutting one day, a spare block, an assload of rods, a front mount that needs piping, gauges I never put in, 40# injectors I never used. I want to build a 4.1, just need a crank so I don't have any down time, daily driver.
Got airbags in there too and a Dutt neck I never used.

It's big. The biggest one here. You know what else? It's got a lot of range. You know what I mean by range, don't you? I mean it can stay up for a long time. A very long time. And it's built firm and solid. Because it has to be. Because of its tremendous forward thrust. And when this baby delivers its payload... devastating.

Mines only seen a few mods. The suspension has: Hotchkis rear upper and
lower arms w/ braces, 3" pinion snubber, GNX style seat braces, and front
polyurethane control arm bushings. The engine currently has 170k with an
8445 head on one side and a 6293 on the other. (the car came that way
when I bought it) SBC valve springs, RJC plate, 30# inj, Thrasher 92 chip,
Poston's HP fuel pump with hot wire, Dutt neck, K&N air filter, Martone FPR,
S-10 wheel cyls, and Flowmaster exh. The transmission has an Art Carr
shift kit, Fairbanks billet servo, hardened input shaft, custom lockup TC,
and various HD internals. P245 60 R15 street tires = 13.57 @ 99.49mph
All other parts are stock
I'm still building my new combo:
6190 block studded with front 3 caps billet.
Ported 8445 heads with 1.775 intake valves
Precision TE-44 turbo
underdrive pulleys
Accel (Magnavox) coil pack
Silicone hoses
More parts to follow, as I buy them. Only if Gordy hasn't hoarded them all at

I actually have a cat back. just regualar turbo mufflers. They are very quiet!!! I hate them... too quiet. I'm going to get a cutout when the car runs well

My cat's intact (that sounds funny), but the exhaust system is basically everything that's wrong with monkeys operating pipe benders. Worst work I;ve ever seen. Good thinkg I didn't pay for it. I would be pissed.
I will replace the cat w/a test pie, no emissions testing here in FLorida.

Leave
the TA-60 in the trunk until you have a set of larger injectors.
Why wouldn't the blue tops work with that?

The TA60 should be fine with 36lbs.
I wont be running tons of boost.
Remember a 60 is not that much bigger than a 49-44

I just looked it up. The TA-60 flows 832cfm. The TE-44 is about 850 cfm.
I thought that the TA-60 flowed more than that. I still think you'd be
running the 36's static with a 60. My 30's run static with a stock turbo.
I can't find the rating, but I think the stock turbo flows 560 cfm. I think
you'd be better off with a set of 009's or even MSD 50's. IMHO

Oh I agree 100%... but I wont be pushing the ta60 hard until I do have the larger injectors.
I got the 36ers before my stock turbo started to blow oil... So you know I didnt plan ahead far enough!

I might be able to swing that, too. I just hate to miss a chance to go with the way the weather and my schedule has been. If I'm the only Buick there, maybe it will look faster. :rolleyes;

They probably be runnin' their other vehicles. Steve has
an S-10, and Mike (Pronto) has a Nissan Maxima that we
installed a performance exhaust in. He's dying to try it
out at the track. They're nudging me to run the Mazda, so
they can see what the nitrous does. I kind want to know too !
