no the other one you prevs.
Earl was replace my springs and was having fun, first the tool I bought broke, repaired it then bent a valve. So the heads have to come off, going to have him port the heads and back cut the valves while they are off.
Parts I was thinking:
ARP head studs
RJC head gaskets
Ferrea valves 1.77, 1.5
New springs..duh I've only had them for 2 1/2 years
What am I missing???
Remember K.I.S.S.
OK I'm starting to suffer from the disease know as whileimatit..
parts I'm going to add
RJC power plate
maybe a upgraded turbo
have earl clean up the dog house
send TB to steve to get freshened up
new rear tires..MT dr's ???
Update the TT chip

sounds like a good thing to do this winter.

I've really enjoyed my RJC p/p. In fact, I'll never start another Buick without one. Which headgaskets are you considering? If the steel shims, DO NOT SKIP THE FINAL STEP!

+2 on the Power Plate. I noticed a difference with it. The guy that is fixing my friend's T-Type (blown head gaskets) and installing some Champion heads on my car does not like the RJC head gaskets, I'll have to ask him why and get back to you.

I went back to stock gaskets...when I bought them, the guy at the GM parts counter told me that there were only about 30 *gaskets* (not sets) left.

I have like 4 sets of stock GM head gaskets sitting in my stash. I just did an inventory of my parts...I could probably sell them and buy another Turbo Regal given how low the prices on cars has gotten.

Kinda hard to say given how volatile the economy is right now, but I would definitely hang onto those gaskets for a while.
